Hey Taylor,

I started having severe inflammation issues last spring. In November 2024 I was told about taking 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric with a 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper. I cannot personnal stomach the Cayenne, but I have been putting the turmeric in my coffee every morning. On the 4th morning I did start to feel a difference. I am older by you a few decades, but now 2 months later I can feel a total difference through out my entire body. Had no idea how much inflammation I had in both knees and my core. And a lot of my aches and pains are gone or minimal. I am going to send you a picture of the bottle I got if you are interested. I also have Hashimoto's too (thyroid). So am always cold and wears layers! I think you will see a difference in all you are doing for your self care!! Way better then myself at that age! Have a great month!!

Hi thank you! I do that amount of turmeric in my smoothie every morning. I do that and banana, spinach, cinnamon, peanut butter etc. and I wear thick socks over my compression socks. As well as thermals under all my clothes! Gloves as soon as I leave the house! And I am still suffering. Hoping the gym and sauna help. Thank you for sharing!

After baby loss I realised I had to do something about my own inflammation which was obviously partly caused by stress… I cut out sugar and took up some of the glucose goddesses recommendations. I would really recommend it. Honestly, I didn’t know the enormous change it would make to my daily life. You sound like you’re doing such a wonderful things for yourself, and i hope that you’ll start to feel better soon xxxxx

Oh and, if you have never read David Copperfield, you should, preferably before reading Demon Copperhead. The parallels are the best part (I won't spoil anything :-) ).

No surprise, but I identify so much with you - it's like you are the younger self I should have been :-) I am so sorry for your pain. I suffer similarly, but am 30 years older! That's not fair (to either of us, honestly). I too have a long list of things I've tried. As someone who also sewed professionally for many years, be careful of your neck and back - take breaks - sewing can be hard on the body!

I’ve been experiencing a lot of inflammation over the past few years actually, and am being told that fitting lots of astringent (onion, garlic, SPICY spices, arugula, citrus) foods will help , incorporate as much as you possibly can into your diet
